The FOLLOW ME Installation was conceived as an actual-space portrayal of the artist’s Facebook wall. The artist was keeping her presence simultaneously on social media and the wall by sticking humorous, colloquial, pretentious status updates about art followed by exact numbers of likes and different emoticons from her Facebook profile. In that manner she raised a unspoken doubt: Is the number of followers or likes proportionally relevant to the value/importance of the one who is fol-lowed or liked?
